Hello, Hej and MOIN! The film north as a guest in Gothenburg
21.01.2026 | Göteborg Film Festival 2026
Five films in the programme, a delegation of eleven Executive Producers on site and the Nordic NEST enters the next round: the German film north is prominently represented at this year's Gothenburg Film Festival - the most important film festival in Scandinavia.
Helge Albers, CEO of MOIN Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein: "As Germany's northernmost film region, Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein are the central interface to Scandinavia. Our strong presence in Gothenburg clearly shows how lively and sustainable the cooperation with the Nordic countries is - from our eleven Executive Producers to our Nordic NEST. The premiere of the co-production 'Butterfly' with the Norwegian star Renate Reinsve in the leading role also emphasises this close connection - produced by Nordfilm, a subsidiary of the Studio Hamburg Produktion Group."
