Whether special film presentations, innovative marketing measures or future-proof investments - we support the local cinema scene in Hamburg. In addition, every year we award the cinema prizes for the respective federal state together with the states of Hamburg and Schleswig Holstein.

Every year, the Hamburg Cinema Awards are presented by an expert jury for excellent and sophisticated cinema programmes.
The Cinema Award honours the high-quality work of a cinema over the course of a programme year. The award procedure is organised by Filmwerkstatt Kiel.
