Hamburg, 20.01.2026 - CineHamburg - the new industry gathering of the German cinema industry - will take place in the Hanseatic city for the first time from 7 to 10 July 2026. This was announced today by the associations HDF KINO and AllScreens Verband Filmverleih und Audiovisuelle Medien. With CineHamburg, the two associations are combining the strengths of their previous formats Filmtage Köln and Filmtheaterkongress KINO, thus opening a fresh chapter for the cinema industry.
As a summer event in the industry calendar, CineHamburg complements the Filmfest Hamburg Industry Days in autumn and makes Hamburg one of the most important meeting places for the German-speaking cinema, distribution and cinema technology industry.

With CineHamburg, the Hanseatic city will become the meeting place for the cinema and distribution industry. The excellent infrastructure around the CCH creates ideal conditions for the new industry event in the centre of the city. The decision also underlines Hamburg's commitment to the film industry and the growing film location in the north."

The venue is the neighbourhood around the Congress Center Hamburg (CCH) and the CinemaxX Dammtor. CineHamburg is backed by the cinema association HDF KINO e.V. and AllScreens Verband Filmverleih und Audiovisuelle Medien e.V. The event is organised by Zukunft Kino Marketing GmbH (ZKM). The operational realisation is carried out by hdfstudio. GmbH and OPUS Mediengruppe GmbH as experienced organisers with many years of expertise in the cinema industry.
