Call for tenders: First Cut Lab Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein

The North German First Cut Lab edition takes place exclusively online. The participation fee is 1,000 euros, the remaining costs are covered by the MOIN Film Fund. You can still apply until 15 April.

In 2024, the MOIN-funded project "Those Who Whistle After Dark" took part in the First Cut Lab - an experience that Directors Pinar Yorgancıoğlu and Executive Producer Sandra Müller describe as follows:

"We participated in the First Cut Lab with Those Who Whistle After Dark, a family drama with absurd black humour, when we had a difficult transition between editors. The Lab gave us both clarity and certainty - it helped us see what we needed to work on, while confirming the essence of the film. The feedback from our mentors was incredibly insightful and supportive, allowing us to approach the next steps with new perspective and confidence. We will be forever grateful for this great experience. "
